We raised $7000 for the Katrina Disaster Relief Fund at the Singles Benefit Dance Party 9/16 and Comedy for a Cause 10/4. We donated $500 to 4 families and the rest was split between the Red Cross and the Salvation Army. Next Benefit: The North Metro Catholic Singles Dance at the Immaculate Heart Church on Saturday, October 15th will donate part of their proceeds to the Katrina Disaster Relief Fund. Pam Preston is working with Colorado Humane Society to collect supplies and financial donations to help rescue and care for the abandoned pets in the hurricane region. Please contact Pam If you can donate food, treats, pet carriers, blankets or towels (they don't have to be new, but in decent condition), bowls, collars and leashes, or make a financial donation that will be used for fuel to transport the supplies, medication and shampoo.
